Here's Annabelle with the Beluga whales at the Vancouver Aquarium. We had a great day checking out the fish, sea lions, dolphins, and whales. Tag the sea lion was especially endearing.
Leon, Fraser, and Annabelle all became great friends and enjoyed a trip to the Aquarium as well as playing with Fraser's toys one night so that the Brower-Fachs could enjoy an evening out.

After a week in Vancouver and Mexico we all went up to Long Beach for a week with our friends Sandra, Derek, and their son, Leon. Every morning we awoke to the sounds of "NEON, NEON!" from Annabelle. We had a great week, despite cloudy weather, and enjoyed chesterman beach, bushwacking by the toquart river, kayaking around tofino, and catching up on movie rentals. Craig, Sharon, and Gavin joined us for the first part of the week and Graham, Karen, and Isaiah followed up the back end. A great week holiday, but would have been slightly improved by netty's cabin overlooking the beach, next time.
I went to mexico city with a group of teens from the church. We had an excellent time and made some good amigos playing football and singing scottish sectarian songs. Highlights for me were the sheps, the pyramids, and protesting the election. The pools at junamex were brilliant and kept us from overheating.
